Artswave Wales 200 Club
Joining our 200 club helps us greatly in the knowing that there are funds available to help the youth development work of our project. It also enables us to establish a database thus ensuring that we can effectively and economically keep you informed of our aims, activities and achievments.
Funds not only go towards the staging of concerts but towards providing specialist workshops in schools and these are ongoing projects througout the year. Throughout the project we will have presented musicians and dancers, storytellers and poets, artists and craftspeople in public venues, schools, rest homes, care centres and the homes and venues for the less able throughout Pembrokeshire. Our work has also spread into Carmarthenshire, Ceridigion and Gwynedd.
In our earliest concerts we featured talented young musicians such as the cellist from Dinas, Nia Harries, cellist and pianist Nerys Richards from Newport and Llinos Richards, again a cellist from Newport. The Goodwick Brass Band and thier junior section have appeared throughout our history and of course there are many more examples. As ever we are delighted to welcome our performing guests from Ireland.
I have mentioned the advantages to us having members on our database and this saves us effort and money so naturally we are pleased to return some benefits to you. Your membership entitles you to request up to four free tickets. Then, in addition to this, there is the chance that you might win one of our cash prizes.
Membership lasts for 12 months so the time is always right to join. Please give it a thought and come and join the Club.
We are always pleased to help and advise on the requirments of visitors and welcome enquiries from groups and induviduals who express and interest in participating in our events.
From time to time we circulate information and to receive this simply sign up to our newsletter.
